Tyrell’s Hand Cooked English Chips are made with 100% natural ingredients, nothing artificial, vegan friendly and gluten free. I was able to try a few of their varieties out.

Mature Cheddar & Chives: These chips are not greasy, very crunchy, but not as hard as some kettle chips. I love cheese, so these were absolutely my favorite! Extremely flavorful. Between my husband and I, this bag didn’t have a chance, they were gone in less then 15 minutes.

Veg Chips: These chips are a little softer then the other Tyrrell’s chips, but still crunchy. Very colorful and full of beetroot, sweet carrots and parsnip flavor. These are not your typical veggie chips, these are so much better in flavor. It tastes like real veggies!

Lightly Salted: These chips have a light dusting of sea salt. You can really taste the true potato. I prefer my chips with more salt, but I felt better giving these lightly salted chips to the kids for and they liked them.

Sea Salt & Cracked Black Pepper: If you add pepper to everything, then you will love these. My husband devoured these at one sitting and didnt give me a chance to taste it. He loves extra pepper on almost anything he can so naturally these were his favorite.

Sweet Chile & Pepper: These chips were yummy. It’s a little sweet like barbeque sauce, with a little kick, but not hot where u need a glass of milk to extinguish the extreme heat from your mouth. It’s perfectly balanced.

Worcestershire Sauce & Sundried Tomato: Again, full of flavor, sweet yet tangy with a little bit of an after kick. I enjoyed these, but my husband wasn’t fond of them due to a slight scent of vinegar from the Worcestershire sauce.

Sea Salt & Cider Vinegar: These are full of cider vinegar flavor and scent. I like the sting and tangy taste of vinegar, so I liked these. These are not your typical salt and vinegar chips. My husband can’t fathom the scent of vinegar, sso as soon as he smelled the open bag he almost passed out. If you can’t handle the smell of vinegar, I suggest you stay away from these, but if you like that stingy, sour, tangy taste of vinegar and secretly like the smell of vinegars…. then you will love these!

Overall, these fine English chips are made from local Herefordshire potatoes in England. They are cooked with the skin on by hand in small batches. Every bag is unique in flavor. I love the vintage photos on the bags… has a little bit of nostalgia to it. I love that they are free of artificial flavors, MSG and most importantly gluten-free. I feel confident and safe giving my family chips that are flavorful, but most of all healthy! I will definitely buy these again in the future.
